Duplicate Games
ACBL sanctioned games Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday afternoons, 1-4pm (note winter hours, 12:45- 3:45pm are in effect from 4 Nov 2025 to 30 Jan 2026). Please try to be seated 20 minutes before game time to enable the manager and director to set up so that we can start on schedule. The cost is $6pp, or $7pp if there is a special game (extra points). We require that you have a partner but, if you need one, please email partnerships@CharlottetownBridge.ca at least a day in advance. In addition to results being posted online by ACBL, we invite you also to visit our CDBC BridgeWebs site for an alternate presentation of the results.
Novice Bridge
Tuesday mornings, 9:30am-12pm, $4pp, September to June. We guarantee a partner, so singles are always very welcome. Check out our "Novice" page to see information about this great learning opportunity for beginners and also intermediate players.
2025 Annual General Meeting
Our 2025 AGM is Tue 25 Nov - everybody welcome! Please bring lunch to eat during AGM. We'll provide coffee and dessert. Here's the schedule for the day:

9:30 - 11:00 = Novice Bridge (no mini-lesson).

11:15 - 12:45 = AGM: reports, proposed Constitution amendments, other business, elections.
❖ Amendments to our Constitution are proposed by the Executive Committee to eliminate outdated provisions, to clarify the duties of the Executive Committee and the Club Manager, to reduce the spending limit of the Committee for an item from $5,000 to $2,000, and to add the Novice Bridge Director to the Executive Committee. 1:00 - 3:45 = Duplicate Bridge, with 33% gold MPs (reminder: we're operating on winter hours).
In view of the abbreviated schedule, there will be no player fees for either novice or duplicate bridge, so please come and enjoy the free day, with the opportunity to earn gold.
2025 Christmas Party
Our 2025 Christmas party will be on Tue 9 Dec (NEW DATE). Times and other info TBA.
2026 Rookie-Master Games
R-M Games are Canada-wide events, so you are competing against literally thousands of players. As the boards are identical for the whole country, you may only play in one game that day.
The 2026 Helen Shields Rookie-Master game will be held at the Havilland Club on Mon 13 Apr 2026. Contact Irene MacArthur (email) if you wish to participate.
The 2026 Erin Berry Rookie-Master game will be held at the BIS on Tue 13 Oct 2026.
